The Bobrick B-3725 TrimLineSeries™ Recessed Automatic Hand Dryer is a high-performance, vandal-resistant solution designed for modern commercial washrooms. Its 18-gauge stainless steel cover extends just 2" (51mm) from the wall, with welded corners for added strength and is secured with vandal-resistant screws.
A defining feature of this unit is its recessed hand-drying alcove - measuring 9-7/8" high by 10" wide and 6" deep - designed with a curved back and ceramic water-absorbent surface. This design helps capture and evaporate excess water, minimising puddles and promoting hygiene.
The dryer operates via a thermally protected 1/7 hp universal motor spinning at 8000 RPM, mounted on resilient supports for quieter performance. A coiled Nichrome heating element on a mica frame provides uniform heat without hot spots and is safeguarded by an automatic thermal overload device. A black plastic air outlet nozzle, along with side air inlets, ensures efficient airflow while reducing splash.
This no-touch, infrared-activated dryer includes a multi-color LED indicator: flashing green when ready, solid green during use, and red when unavailable. It automatically powers off when hands are removed and features a safety shutoff after one minute if an object obstructs the sensor. The system resets once the obstruction is cleared.
