The recessed 3-in-1 unit integrates a paper towel dispenser, automatic hand dryer, and waste bin into a streamlined, space-saving design crafted from type-304 stainless steel with a fully welded construction and a satin finish on all visible surfaces. The doors are constructed from 1.2 mm (18-gauge) stainless steel and feature 14 mm (9/16") 90° return edges for added rigidity. They are mounted with concealed full-length stainless steel piano hinges and include a stainless steel cable door-swing limiter, along with two flush-mounted tumbler locks keyed to match other Bobrick washroom accessories, ensuring both durability and security.
The paper towel dispenser accommodates up to 600 multifold or 450 C-fold paper towels and comes equipped with Bobrick's TowelMate system. This system features a 90° return towel guide and a central nylon rod that enables one-at-a-time dispensing, minimising waste and preventing towels from falling out during servicing. The integrated waste bin includes a removable, leak-proof, rigid moulded plastic container with a 13.7-litre (3.6-gallon) capacity, specifically designed to prevent airflow from the hand dryer from entering the container.
The automatic hand dryer boasts a one-piece type-304 stainless steel cover, a robust 1.5 mm (20-gauge) plated steel mounting base, and fire-retardant molded black plastic fan housings. It is driven by a 1/7 hp universal motor with sealed ball bearings and self-lubricating sleeve bearings, and includes automatic thermal-overload protection for both the motor and the heating elements. These elements deliver a consistent, vandal-resistant air stream for efficient hand drying.
An electronic sensor activates the dryer in one of two modes: “dryer promotion mode,” which starts immediately when hands are placed beneath the outlet, or “paper promotion mode,” which introduces a 3-second delay before activation. The dryer automatically stops when hands are removed or after 1.5 minutes if a non-moving object remains in the sensor area, resuming operation once the obstruction is cleared. A built-in LED indicator on the control panel provides status updates: green when ready, solid green during operation, and red when inactive.
