The Bobrick recessed combination unit is a versatile and durable fixture engineered for high-traffic commercial restrooms. Constructed from premium 18-8, Type-304 heavy-gauge stainless steel with all-welded seams, this unit is designed for long-lasting performance and structural integrity. The unit features a bevelled, one-piece flange crafted from 22-gauge stainless steel, designed to mount flush with the wall surface for a clean, built-in appearance. Two seamless 18-gauge stainless steel doors are attached with full-length stainless steel piano hinges and secured by a keyed tumbler lock compatible with other Bobrick washroom accessories.
Inside, the unit includes two integrated toilet tissue dispensers, each constructed from 22-gauge stainless steel. These dispensers hold standard-core tissue rolls up to 5-1/4" (135mm) in diameter - about 1,800 sheets - and use chrome-plated plastic spindles with heavy-duty internal springs for reliable operation.
The waste disposal section features a 22-gauge stainless steel panel with hemmed edges for user safety, and a spring-loaded piano hinge for smooth, consistent access. A clearly marked “drop here” graphic directs users to the disposal area. The 0.5-gallon (1.9-litre) internal waste receptacle is made from leak-proof, moulded polyethylene and is fully removable for easy maintenance.
Additionally, the unit includes a toilet seat-cover dispenser with a capacity of up to 500 single- or half-fold paper covers.
Installation Requirements:
A framed rough wall opening of 26-5/8" (675mm) wide by 12-5/8" (320mm) high with a minimum recess depth of 4" (102mm) is required. Installers must coordinate placement with plumbing and electrical systems to avoid conflicts. When mounted above a wainscot, a filler - such as an aluminum channel - may be used to close any gap between the flange and the wall surface. Secure installation is achieved using shims and #8 x 1-1/4" (4.2 x 30mm) sheet-metal screws at the designated mounting points.
